The Hess-VTI model is designed primarily to provide a feature (the "turtle" in the center
of the model) which cannot be easily imaged with an isotropic algorithm due to AVA effect.
Our deviated well, with typical marine seismic shooting, allows us to demonstrate the utility
of angle gathers in a VSP geometry; we can see the expected AVA effect, and the "hockey-stick"
curvature of the event in the isotropic case.
